What is faith? Faith is the assured hope for evidence of realities not seen.
But, there is so much more to faith. Let’s review ‘Faith Collective part 1’. Ephesians 1:3-We have spiritual blessings in Christ. You have all you need to serve.
John 3:6-Your spirit is born again. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-Your spirit, soul and body are changed. Your mind is transformed.
How? You go through ‘spiritual change’. You repent to transform your mind to become like Christ. Do you know who you are in Christ? 2 Corinthians 5:21-You are the righteousness in God in Christ. Jesus took your sins and gave you righteousness. Christ set us free. James 1:23-25-Be a doer… not a bearer. See the word, do the word, share the word. Do not doubt. Romans 12:2-See it in your mind… then do it. Be confident in Christ. Open your eyes, ears and heart to God. Look to the spiritual realities in God’s word. Transform your natural senses to spiritual senses. Do not let your emotions control you.
You go through ‘effortless change’. Mark 4:26-28 tells us God plants a seed (His Word) in you and it grows with the living word. In the Old Testament people were under ‘law’. Since the New Testament, people live by ‘grace’. When you meditate on God’s word, you will undergo effortless change. The Holy Spirit, who will never leave you, will reveal it to you.
You go through ‘a better way to pray’. Hebrews 13:5-Be content with what you have. And remember, God doesn’t give us bad things like sickness, disease and disasters. These are given by man himself through Satan. When you pray, you’re praying to the Trinity… God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. 2 Corinthians 5:17-You are a new creature that connects with God. Psalm 50:10-Connect by praying with a renewed heart. Luke 8:15-“But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering, produce a crop”. Sow the seed, have confidence.
